Small deposit = Big ¢hange
Container Deposit Systems Workshop
Using scenario planning, a technique that was used very successfully in South Africa during the second half of 1980s and the early 1990s to change the political conversation on the future of the country, internationally renown Clem Sunter will take delegates through a window into the future of what Container Deposit Systems could mean for WA.
Clem has conducted sessions with the top executive teams of some of the largest companies in South Africa and in the UK, and other parts of Europe, as well as with teams managing medium and small-sized businesses. He has also used this technique for a myriad of other organisations including NGOs, educational institutions, churches and, in Australia, municipalities. These experiences have engaged audiences from as far a field as England, Ireland, the Netherlands, Austria, France, Germany, Kuwait, Italy, Jamaica, Jersey and the Isle of Man, as well as throughout Southern Africa.
For this session Clem will work with a panel of experts which includes all our international keynote and invited speakers as well as local experts from local and state government, the food and beverage industry, not for profit groups and more. Delegates will be welcomed and engaged voyeurs to a highly stimulating, structured conversation leading to a tangible image of how a future for WA that includes Container Deposit Systems could lead to a big change.
Container Deposit Systems for WA -
Where does our future lie?
Come along and witness the possible scenarios that might unfold under a Container Deposit System in WA. Will it be “Boring Bottle Blues” or “Go for Gold”; and what might these scenarios mean for all the participants in the chain from consumers right through to producers and government?
In conjunction with a stellar line up of international and national experts on all aspects related to waste management, from pure economics through to forces for change in society. Clem Sunter, an internationally recognised leader in running scenario planning exercises, will take participants on a ride into the future of what could be and what it might really look like.
Never again will the timing, context, audience and participants be better placed to map out what sort of future Container Deposits might lead to.
Guaranteed not to get bogged down in the detail, this highly innovative conference session will take delegates and participants out of their normal space and place them in the world of what really could be.
Be prepared to be challenged to think outside the square as this session will be based on real time assessments of likelihood and the bounds of possibility. The interactive discussions will engage many diverse players: producers, consumers, re-processors, local and state governments and many more - an event truly not to be missed.
